What Happens to Your Donations
Your donation to the Guild is highly valued. It will go towards funding The Guild’s work in a range of ways. It will help to fund the delivery of clinical services to individuals, couples, families and groups, and will contribute to the development of psychoanalytic psychotherapy in a challenging and ever-changing social environment. Reduced-Fee ClinicOur clinic aims to increase access to psychotherapy for a diverse community. To this end, the clinic offers Reduced-Fee psychotherapy to members of the public who live in the boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark, who would be unable to access it otherwise. There is no other service of its kind in these boroughs. Psychotherapy TrainingThe Guild recognises the adverse effects of exclusion and discrimination. To this end, it seeks to increase access to psychoanalytic psychotherapy training by providing bursaries to support disadvantaged individuals throughout their training. Open lecturesPsychotherapists at The Guild represent a diverse spectrum of thought across the psychoanalytic field. Our Open Lectures offer the general public an opportunity to engage with psychoanalysis in a live and accessible way. Other Work Undertaken by Guild MembersIn pursuit of its aims, The Guild works in partnership with professionals in London and across the UK. Members of The Guild offer wide ranging in-house and external services to health professionals, teachers, social workers, local community groups and others, who work in the field of mental health or in related fields.
