Welcome to the Guild of Psychotherapists.
The Guild of Psychotherapists is a membership organisation providing training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. It is a registered Charity offering reduced fee therapy for adults on low income who live in the London boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Our training courses include a full psychotherapy training, a supervision training, and an introductory course to psychoanalytic ideas. We also have an exciting events programme addressed to members of the public and practitioners. Individuals seeking personal therapy should use our find a therapist link.

Why Freud?: This course is an introduction to Freud’s thinking in relation to clinical psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. It will critically engage with his thinking around central ideas such as the unconscious, repression and the symptom, dream interpretation, sexuality, the Oedipus complex and transference as well as topics such as neurosis and psychosis. 2nd October to 11th December.
